We’re abs-olutely excited that the weight is finally over as the 5th edition of Dubai Fitness Challenge has already kicked off on 29 October and will be running up until 27 November (yes, excessive puns intended).

This year’s month-long calendar is jam-packed with a variety of exciting wellness and fitness-centered events, workouts, and entertainment. So, no matter how you like to get up and get moving – jog, bike, lift, stretch, etc – and no matter your age, the ample number of citywide events and online sessions (you’re welcome, homebodies) is guaranteed to keep you motivated to complete your 30 mins X 30 days challenge. Oh, and did we mention that it’s FREE to join?

Your Sun, Sand and Sea fitness fix at Kite Beach Fitness Village

Every day until 27th November, DP World Fitness Village Kite Beach will run an array of free water and beach activities between 2 pm-11 pm on weekdays and 7 am-11 pm on weekends. The activity center is fit for all levels and interests, featuring 15 dedicated Sports and Fitness Zones with a variety of free classes and events including watersports, HIIT training, cycling, and yoga.

The village also has a dedicated space for women only, the main stage area for live classes run by top fitness instructors, a kids-zone for family-friendly games, and new this year, a padel tennis area as well as a Suspension Yoga zone for all you yogis. There truly is something for everyone!

Hitting Your Step Goals with Reebok MENA X Les Mills Competition

Reebok MENA has teamed up with Les Mills during this year’s DFC to run an Expo 2020-inspired fitness competition that will motivate you to start hitting your daily steps goal! The citywide challenge, ‘Fitness for Your Flag’, will unite participants from the same home country through a reward-based health and fitness platform called Steppi.

As a team, the goal is to complete 150,000 steps within 30 days (psht, sounds easy peasy) through your own exercise routines or by attending a range of free Les Mills classes hosted at Expo 2020, Kite Beach, Mushrif Park, or online. Expo 2020’s super sizeable fitness hub is a utopia for all you avid sports and fitness fanatics.

Dubai Ride 2021 – Ready, Set, Pedal!

Gear up, bikers, and get ready to pedal your way around the heart of the city on November 5! Dubai Ride, presented by DP World, offers two route options: a fun 4km ride for friends and family around Downtown Dubai, or a more challenging 14km ride along Sheikh Zayed Road for any pedal-happy cyclers.

Lace-up for Dubai Run 2021

Dubai Run is back on November 26 and open to all, with the choice of a 5km or 10km run. After Dubai Run’s socially distanced experience in 2020, this year, participants will once again run alongside some of Dubai’s most iconic landmarks on Sheikh Zayed Road. So lace up for a buzzing and exciting atmosphere and get ready to experience the euphoric “runners high.”

Feel Good Fitness Sessions with L’Couture

Very fitting with their focus on empowering women to live healthier, more fulfilled lifestyles, L’Couture is joining in on this year’s Dubai Fitness Challenge by hosting an array of women-only fitness classes at their studio in Al Wasl. The schedule includes four 40-ish mins long energizing, mood-boosting workouts that’ll leave you feeling good including HIIT (Nov 3), morning yoga (Nov 10), boxercise (Nov 17), and an Afrobeat dance sesh (Nov 24), each with two back-to-back sessions to ensure you don’t miss out!

Experience the newest fitness craze at Dubai Padel Cup

What more could a Padel lover want than a month filled with witnessing some of the world’s best padel players go head-to-head, alongside getting to partake in an epic series of padel events and activities? I’m not sure but I imagine it doesn’t get much better than this. Whether you’re a padel player (all levels welcome!), just a fan, or simply curious about this booming sport and looking for a new challenge, the next 30 days have something for everyone. There will be free coaching and padel clinics, competitive leagues for all levels, exhibition matches (2-4 November), and intermediate level tournaments (7-21 November) followed by the main Dubai Padel Cup event (21-27 November.)

Rest and Relaxation at Rituals’ Zen Dome

Take a break from your hectic schedule and the hustle and bustle of Dubai’s city life by escaping to the Rituals Zen Dome for a deeply relaxing yoga session. Classes will be led by local and international instructors until November 27, from 2 pm to 11 pm on weekdays and from 7 am to 11 pm on weekends at Kite Beach Fitness Village. Look After Mind, Body and Soul at Dubai Healthcare City’s Fitness & Wellness Hub

Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC), the Emirate’s healthcare and wellness free zone, has set up a fitness & wellness hub that is open from 6-10 am on weekdays and 4-10 pm on weekends until 27 November. On top of a fully equipped gym with a range of classes, unique to this hub is its wellness-oriented focus, including lymph activation, corrective medical exercise, stress relief method exercise classes, healthcare assistance, free health check-ups, complimentary nutritional advice, and discounts on some services to the public.

Workout Like A Caesar At Caesars Palace Dubai

Up until 27 November, Caesars Palace Dubai is hosting several fitness activities along their pristine sandy beach and with a stunning backdrop of Ain Dubai and Bluewaters Island. Cue the gasps of excitement!  

The calendar of free classes includes some truly unique and Caesar-esque fitness activities, including, WatFit, Aqualogix, Teqball, Kick Boxing, Swiss Ball Trampoline, Beach Boot Camp, Beach Boot Camp x UFC GYM, Running Club, kid’s camp, and teen’s camp. Yeah, we aren’t quite sure what half of those are either, but thankfully all the info you need is right here. What we do know though is that no matter your fitness level or age, as long as you love a new challenge and get a good sweat in, this range of activities is def for you.
