Cosmo ME only just went ahead to create *the most* Cosmo event ever for Dubai Fitness Challenge: doga (dog yoga – duh!).

Teaming up with Dubai Pet Food (who, like us, know that everything is better with puppers), our first ever doga event saw some of our favourite influencers, VIP readers and dog lovers come together for an afternoon of health and wellness.

So if you’re wondering what the heck doga is, let’s break it down for you. It is dog yoga, and according to experts, it’s a great way to get a good workout sesh with you and your dog. According to Chelsea, a trainer and doga expert at Dog venture, “Doga is a very good bonding experience and you can also train your dogs as well.”

“There’s so many tricks that I’ve learnt with dog yoga they probably wouldn’t have learnt with basic training. The best part is, you can use doga to incorporate new tricks and it’s a great way to bond with your dog,” Chelsea added.

There’re no limits to the types or size of dogs that can participate in this exercise. “If you have a big dog for sure doga works. Obviously you can’t pick them up as much but you can’t have them standing on you there is no limitations at all,” the doga expert said.

Pets walked away with goodie bags from Dubai Pet Food,as well as the latest episode of Cosmopolitan Middle East, which you can read for free online by clicking here.

Thanks to Prickly Pear for designing our dreamy, customised the yoga mats, Fujifilm Instax for the cutest retro shots of our guests and Pretty Little Props for our oh so Instagrammable flower wall.
