Quarantine is officially underway and frankly, we’ve lost count of which day of the week we’re on.
Dubai has recently been put on lockdown, with residents not being permitted to leave their households unless it is necessary or essential (aka going to the grocery store or pharmacy). And, naturally, only a week or so into quarantine, we’ve basically finished Netflix. We’ve also conquered TikTok. Soon enough we’ll be pros at making that viral ‘fluffy’ coffee.
It’s not just us either; you’re favourite Arab celebs and influencers are in the same boat, too. From making funny skits, to taking care of their skin, or even baking to de-stress, they’re showing us the plenty of ways we could be using this time.

Karen Wazen
I think we can officially crown Karen Wazen the queen of TikTok. Her and her family have been giving us the most adorable quarantine content – it seems like she’s just as obsessed with the app as we are!

Azza Zarour
Azza Zarour has also been keeping up with the latest TikTok trends, and not only that, she’s caught with Money Heist on Netflix. Side note: how cool is it that she plays the Oud?!

Rawan Bin Hussain
Since self-isolation started, Rawan’s come up with a brand new IGTV series called ‘Rawan Cooks.’ The former Cosmo ME cover star gives us some pointers on her own secret recipes, and even walks us through her cooking. We deffo just got hungry.

Tamara Farra Hakim
Style-guru Tamara has been masking all her worries away and taking care of her skin. Same, tbh.

Maya Diab
Lebanese singer and star Maya Diab has started an IG live series, called Side Talks with Maya Diab where she invites other Arab celebs on to IG for a chat. Topics include the pandemic, how we can be mentally handling it, and just in general keeping up conversations with others and her viewers is a great reminder that none of us are alone.

Nesreen Tafesh
Syrian actress Nesreen opts for a relaxing yoga workout to stretch out her muscles. A great way to start any day.

Myriam Fares
Lebanese singer Myriam Fares does a little one-on-one baking with her adorable son. Cookies, anyone?

Amy Roko
This Saudi rapper and TikToker posted a throwback video BC (before corona) and encouraged her followers to stay home. Has anyone else been looking at old videos with friends recently, because we definitely have.

Haifa Beseisso
Haifa Beseisso has been making some hilarious TikTok content (which we can’t stop watching.) Our personal favourite is her ‘daily outing during quarantine’ – relatable af.

Nazly Firas
Just like us, Nazly and her mum have been movie marathon-ing it during quarantine. I mean, after the first episode of Tiger King, how can you not binge-watch?
