Our fave LIBH couple French-born Saudi-Marrocan content creator Dounia Allbrahim and Senegalese Lebanese entrepreneur Chafic Yactine are getting married!
When we watched the reunion episode, we were all so happy that the couple had made it.
During the show, they didn’t get married at the end, but we knew from day one that they were destined to be together after their first date in the pods – and we were right!
After all the publicity, Chafic wanted a private moment with his Dounia, so he planned a big surprise for her.
Chafic lured Dounia to the beautiful Banyan Tree Resort at Bluewaters Dubai, where a beautiful setting awaited them, and we were invited!
When the couple arrived, Dounia had no idea what would happen. She thought she was going to a private lunch at the resort. Little did she know that her habibi was going to propose again in the sweetest way possible.
The set-up was on the beach and they arrived at sunset, making it the most magical golden hour ever. Chafic blindfolded Dounia so she couldn’t see on their way to the beach.
As she stood right in front of the aisle, he took the blindfold off and from that moment on, the few people (including us) who were lucky enough to witness this magical moment couldn’t hold back their tears.
It was such an intimate moment and she was definitely surprised. Well done Chafic.
It was every girl’s dream when Chafic got down on one knee and asked Dounia to marry him again. He said to her “Every girl deserves a proper proposal, and you didn’t get yours. So, this is it.” Of course, she immediately said yes. Which was also written on her beautiful engagement cake: “She said yes, again”.
Afterwards, the newly engaged couple sat down at a super romantic table on the beach, enjoyed their cake and some delicious nibbles, and just laughed with happiness and excitement about their future together.
Everything was arranged perfectly and we wish them all the best for the future. It truly was such a heartwarming evening. Congratulations Dounia and Chafic!
