So what actually went down between Chafic and Simo? Chafic opened up on Hikmat Wehbi’s podcast which literally *just* dropped, about some serious topics like brotherhood and betrayal.
With the story being told by Chafic himself, he revealed to Hikmat that he spoke to Nour a couple of years ago and is candid when he says amongst speaking “with maybe 1000 girls” in the past, he didn’t know that this was *the* Nour.
It was only when they met IRL in episode 4, he realised this was the same Nour he had previously exchanged a few messages with. He confided in his bro Simo about this, who then took this news directly to Chafic’s connection, Dounia.
Chafic said at this point he had to stay calm because of all the pressure he was feeling, so he didn’t address it with Simo, even though he felt backstabbed 😥. Everything was cool between Chafic and Dounia too.
But then, and this is where it gets ugly, 😬 Chafic’s mom was mentioned. This is where he went “crazy” and he revealed they actually ended up having a physical fight (which the producers cut). He explained: “I was disappointed…when I heard something about mom I couldn’t control myself”.
He also told Hikmat that he regrets engaging in a physical fight with Simo and that he would never act like that again.
The good news is that Chafic and Simo have now reconciled, with Chafic stating on record that “Simo is a very nice guy” and that they have found mutual respect for one another. We love a happy ending. 💖
