There’s always something that seems to go wrong on the wedding day — something *every* girl dreads to ever happen.
Much like every wedding, there is a mental checklist of things girls wish they would never want to experience. Unfortunately for Dounia, she revealed that something happened while filming for the wedding episode of Love Is Blind, Habibi.
Like every obsessed fan out there watching the Hikmat Wehbi podcast featuring the youngest duo of Love Is Blind, Habibi, Dounia and Chafic, there was a funny wee story that Dounia mentioned that had her…cackling.
The podcast had the pair talking about some major tea about their experience. from behind the pods, of course, the whole fiasco between the boys, most all their hectic journey to the wedding day (whew). Aside from that, Dounia gave a little behind-the-scenes moment that didn’t make the cut for production.
Dounia mentioned: “A funny thing I want to say, before entering the wedding place, I kept saying to production, ‘Like, oh my God, I’m so scared of falling.”
“And literally as soon as I entered I fell!
“I tripped, like in front of everybody in the wedding dress! But [obviously] they cut that part out.”
Despite the unfortunate trip, there was a little spark of a moment that got everyone cooing over.
Like the gentleman Chafic is (we love a cutesy gentleman here), he made sure Dounia was a-okay.
“You would’ve seen Chafic holding me the whole time, helping me to get to the altar,” Dounia revealed. “It was such a stressful day.”
But all in all, the pair seems to have a hang on each other now that they’re *officially* tying the knot soon.
Their love for each other seems to influencing each other’s content too! Chafic mentioned that he is slowly entering the content creation sphere with the help of his fiancé. They revealed their cute moments together which Chafic said, “Every time I try to take shots, I would be on the left or right-hand side of the screen. Dounia would be at my back and be like, ‘You have to be centred!'”
The couple’s joint interview since Love Is Blind Habibi has taken viewers to a happy place (I mean who wouldn’t, honestly). Between the feuds getting cleared up (we need everyone happy TT), and some moments being dissected, the comments seem to be rooting for the couple’s happy-ever-after.
A comment said: “Thinking about it again Dounia and Chafic is actually genuine couple.”
Another chimed: “When Chafic said ‘I love you’ to Dounia and she heard it through the walls, it literally gave me butterflies. And I’ve watched so many seasons of Love Is Blind, but that hit me man it was so cute.”
While another cheered for more years to come: “I really believe this couple. They are honest and genuine and I hope they will get married and be happy with each other for a lifetime️ <3”
