Her name’s Charlotte Awbery. Remember it.

Over the last week the Internet has found something new to obsess over (and rightfully so). This time it includes a small-time singer who became viral overnight – all because of one social media post. British comedian Kevin Freshwater went around the city recording vox-pop style, impromptu singing videos of strangers, asking them to “finish the lyrics.”

And this is how the 40-second iconic video came about. The blonde haired lady, now known as Charlotte Awbery, was casually walking by (coffee held in one hand), and belted out the rest of the lyrics to Shallow from A Star Is Born, which btw, basically topped the original version. Sorry, Gaga.

It turned out that Charlotte, Kevin’s random pick, is in fact a semi-pro singer, which explains her unreal voice. Kevin was definitely shocked – and so was the rest of the world.

Twitter had the funniest reactions – as per – and understandably crowned Charlotte the new ‘Queen of Pop.’

Take a look for yourselves…

She already has her own stan accounts…you’ve got to appreciate the Internet.

You have no choice now but to go check out her Instagram page, it’s filled with some more amazing covers.
