The KarJenner’s glam moments may look effortless, but there is a whole team behind creating that picture-perfect look. The ladies’ have curated a reliable and trustworthy glam-squad full of talented individuals, but that doesn’t mean that they haven’t had to fire a few of their staff in the past. From the past to the present, we look through all of the creative glam-givers who are responsible for some of the KarJenner’s most iconic looks.

Joyce Bonelli – Ex-make-up artist to all the girls

Joyce was a glam staple on KUWTK, following the family around the world to paint their faces and included in pretty much all social and family-only events. So when the make-up artist was unfollowed by the whole family, it was clear that something had gone down. After more than ten years of working together, she was axed from the glam rota. Although the Kardashians have never publicly spoken about the feud, it has been reported that Joyce “tried to go around them on a deal so the Kardashians wouldn’t make money off of it”. Yikes! However, Joyce clearly didn’t want the relationship to end and continued to post throwback images of the ladies’ on their birthdays and days of celebrations to keep the tie to the famous family in the eyes of the media, but none of the girls ever responded. People magazine claims that “after Kim and her parted ways, she would upload pictures of Kim and call Kim her ‘twin’. Joyce also claims she came up with the tagline for Kanye’s hit ‘that **** cray’, which is a lie. The Kardashians were just over her lies and the trying to cheat them out of money was the cherry on top”. Ouch!

Samuel Rauda – Ex-make-up artist to Kylie

Samuel Rauda worked with Kylie ‘a few years ago’ and some drama recently surfaced in regards to an accident he has had. Kylie shared a link to his donation page and donated 18,000Dhs to the cause herself. However, this sparked backlashed from fans who felt that as a ‘billionaire’, Kylie should be donating more. Kylie says that she ‘doesn’t have a personal relationship anymore’ with him, however he does still work with her bestie Stass and ex-bestie Pia Mia. Kylie took to Instagram to clear up the situation, writing on her story, “I feel it’s important for me to clear up this false narrative that I’ve asked fans for money and am not paying for my make-up artists’ medical bills. Sam isn’t my make-up artist and unfortunately we don’t have a personal relationship anymore but I have worked with him a few years ago and think he’s the sweetest. I saw my current make-up artist and friend Ariel post about Sam’s accident and his family’s GoFundMe and I called Ariel immediately to see what happened to Sam. After learning in more detail about the accident it compelled me to visit his GoFundMe which was set at 10k. They had already raised 6k so I put in 5k to reach their original goal and thought I’d post on my stories to gain more awareness if anyone also felt compelled to share or donate. I don’t know how all of this got to twisted but his family has reached out through Ariel and are very appreciative of all the donations, prayers and love towards Sam’. We hope Sam has a speedy recovery!

Rob Scheppy – Ex-ish make-up artist

Rob Scheppy is a make-up artist who Kim used regularly, and even attended her wedding, however they haven’t publicly worked together in a while, but there is no report of a feud. Rob has previously said of Kim, “you probably won’t see [her] without make-up on ever, but she doesn’t need it”. Although neither Rob or Kim have commented their lack of working together, it has been reported that he once fell asleep on a yacht in NYC and woke-up late, missing a glam appointment with Kim and she had to do her own make-up… Whoops!

Raoul Alejandre – Make-up artist to Kim

Raoul is one of the newest additions to Kim’s glam team and is responsible for her latest looks in her KKW campaigns. His work experiments with light and shade and graphic lines, and as he also specialises in art direction, he sure knows a thing or two about getting creative.

Ash K Holm – Make-up artist to Kim and Khloe

Ash is a favourite of both of Kim and Khloe’s, and most recently painted Kimmy’s face for her Skims Valentine’s campaign. Based in LA and of Lebanese decent, Ash was born in Houston and her signature look nearly always featured flawless, dewy skin, defined brows and a sharp liner. She attended Paul Mitchell beauty school, and then became a well-known local make-up artist before breaking into the LA scene. She described the KarJenner girls as ‘very loyal and very professional’, adding ‘I have so much respect for each of them and truly enjoy working with the whole family’.

Ariel Tejada– Make-up artist to Kylie

Ariel is Kylies’ long-time make-up artist, who features often on KUWTK and on spin-off Life and Kylie. Now 25, he started doing Kylie’s make-up at the age of 19 when she DM’d him saying she wanted to work with him. I mean, *that* is a claim to fame! Since becoming Kylie’s go-to make-up artist, he has also worked with sisters Kim and Kendall and momager Kris.

Mario Dedivanovic – Make-up artist to Kim

Mario, AKA Make-up by Mario, has worked with Kim for thirteen years, and has even scored a KKW make-up collaboration with the cosmetics mogul. Born in New York, Mario is known for his live make-up masterclasses, which often feature Kim as the model. Mario’s clients outside of the KarJenner clan includes Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato. Mario comes from an Albanian family, and Kim said of their relationship “we’ve worked together for 11 years [in 2019], so 11 years of fights. You guys, we fight like you don’t understand. We fight like brother and sister. But he’s created some of my most magical memories and really I believe made me who I am today”.

Hrush Achemyan – Make-up artist to Kim

Armenian make-up artist Hrush cites Kim as ‘one of the kindest people’ she knows’, and praises Kim for changing her career. She recalls of their first meeting ‘somebody reached out to me from a production team and was like, “We have somebody from a reality show that would like to get their make-up done by you”’. And the rest was history!

Etienne Ortega – Make-up artist to Kris

Paris Hilton’s go-to make-up artist Etienne, is also a favourite of Kris Jenner’s. Etienne has also created looks for Khloe, Mariah Carey, Xtina and Normani.

Patrick Ta – Make-up artist to all the girls

Patrick is a celebrity make-up artist who has worked with pretty much everyone in Hollywood. Blake Lively, Gigi Hadid, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, plus all of the KarJenner ladies. He discovered make-up at the age of 21 and moved to LA to pursue his career. When Chris Appleton first moved to LA, Patrick and Chris would work together four days a week on the same celebrities because they got on so well. He has been the make-up artist for the Victoria’s Secret fashion show, and now has his own inclusive make-up brand.

Mary Phillips – Make-up artist to Kendall and Kim

Mary is a favourite of Kendall Jenner’s, and also worked with Kim, Kylie, JLo and Bella Hadid. Her ‘less is more’ mantra aligns well with Kendall’s natural laid-back beauty, and she believes prepping the skin with the right products is key to creating perfect make-up.  She recently painted Kendall’s face for the imagery accompanying the launch of Kendall’s KKW perfume collaboration, and describes her aesthetic as ‘glow-y, dewy and monochromatic.

Monica Rose – Ex-stylist to all the girls

Monica Rose was a regular on the Kardashian glam circuit as Khloe, Kourtney, Kim, Kylie and Kendall’s stylist. However, after nearly a decade of working together all five of the sisters cut all ties with the stylist over the span of a few months. It is has also been reported that Gigi Hadid also stopped using Monica’s services too. Kim met Monica back in 2007, but it was Kylie who cut ties with Monica first, hiring (wait for it…) her assistant, Jill Jacobs, to replace her. “I’ve really upped by style game over the past few months”, Kylie wrote on her website, “that’s thanks to Jill Jacobs!”. The rest of the girls followed suit, hiring new stylists to create their looks. Page Six reported that ‘Rose recently hired a lawyer to keep some of the wilder scuttlebutt out of the headlines’, whatever that means. Kim also spoke publicly on the feud saying that she split with Monica due to her claiming that she was responsible for Kim’s ‘Kimye’ makeover, which was in fact down to Kanye. She did add that she couldn’t speak for the rest of the sisters’ reasoning. This looks like some undercover drama to us.

Dani Michelle – Stylist to Kourtney

Kourtney replaced stylist Monica Rose with Dani Michelle, who is a natural at embodying Kourt’s Cali-cool laid-back look. She also regularly works with Kendall, and is based between LA and New York.

Veneda Carter – Stylist to Kim

It’s fair to say that Kim is having a little bit of a high-fashion makeover since announcing her upcoming split with husband Kanye West, and LA-based cool-girl Veneda Carter is responsible for it. The Danish-born stylist keeps a pretty low profile on social media, not even tagging Kim in her styling images, which is unusual considering she reportedly works on the creative team at Yeezy. After modelling for 15 years, Veneda progressed into styling after moving to LA. “It’s like creating art, almost”, Veneda said of styling, “it’s way more complicated than people think it is, just putting a nice outfit together. It’s about colours, proportions, tailoring”. The partnership was first spotted back in May last year, when Veneda styled Kim in a pair of leather chaps and Amina Muaddi shoes, and was also responsible for Kim’s love-or-hate green Schiaparelli Christmas look.

Jesus Guerroro – Hairstylist to Kim and Kylie

Jesus is responsible for some of Kim and Kylie’s most major looks. He recently gave Kylie a noughties inspired curly up-do, but it wasn’t always all positive vibes between the KarJenners and Jesus. Last year Kylie shared a video debuting a new short look, captioning the video “@jesushair said he was giving me a trim and cut off all my hair”. Later, Jesus responded on his own stories with “@kyliejenner is trying to play me,” so it turns out it was all just an inside joke! Phew.

Jen Atkin – Hairstylist to all the girls

Jen Atkin has been a regular in the pre-glam moments of KUWTK for years, and is long-time best friend of Chrissy Teigen, as well as being a go-to hair stylist for pretty much all of the KarJenners. A published author and successful entrepreneur, Jen announced this week that she and her photographer husband Mike have welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. She publicly stuck up for Kim on Instagram when her perfume brand was bashed, and often shows her support for Kim on social media praising her with teaching her a lot. Fun fact: she first met Kim when doing her hair for a Cosmo cover!

Scotty Cunha – Hairstylist to all the girls

If you’ve ever visited any of the Kardashian girl’s Instagram pages, you will probably have seen comments left by Scotty Cunha. The hairstylist and Instagram mogul attended Paul Mitchell beauty school and moved to LA when he was 19, working at Starbucks to afford his education. He is friends with Jen Atkin, and she put him in contact with some possible clients, which lead to him becoming Miley Cyrus’ hairstylist for her upcoming tour. He started working with the girls when Kendall and Kylie were around 15 and 16, and would do their glam every day, Monday through Friday, for the filming of Keeping Up.

Chris Appleton – Hairstylist to Kim

English born hairstylist Chris Appleton has been working in the hair industry ever since he was thirteen years old, and is responsible for some of Kim K’s most iconic hair looks. Remember the neon green straight wig? That was Chris’s work! He also is JLo’s go to hair stylist and is responsible for creating Ariana Grande’s super snatched pony. Oh, and he also posted *that* pic of Kim asleep in the salon chair!

Toyko Stylez – Wigmaker to Kylie and Kim

Toyko is a professional hairstylist and wigmaker, who is best known for her work with Kylie. She has featured on both KUWTK and Life of Kylie, and often collaborated with Hrush, Kim K and was responsible for Cardi B’s mega volume in the music video for Up. She has claimed that she has made over one hundred wigs for Kylie(!!!), and only uses real human hair when making her wigs. She is scheduled to open a wig boutique in LA, and eventually wants to go international. Go girl!

Andrew Fitzsimons – Hairstylist to Kim

Irish born Andrew has worked with Kim for years, and has most recently worked with her on her Skims shoots; balancing his celebrity clients with his own ventures including his own haircare line. He has over 15 years’ experience in the industry and says of the Kardashians ‘they are an absolute dream to work with, so the thing I value the most about them, for sure, is their kindness and their professionalism’. Sweet!

Chris McMillan – Bridal hairstylist to Kim

Chris McMillan is besties with none other than Jen Aniston (he created her iconic ‘Rachel’ cut back in the 90s), and was honoured with doing Kim’s hair for her lavish wedding to Kanye West. “A wedding is not the time to do anything trendy”, he said. “I teased her crown, parted her hair down the middle, and pulled two small sections straight back. This style has sort of become her go-to look since the wedding.”

Justine Marjan – Hairstylist to Khloe (and North)

Justine Marjan is a favourite hairstylist of Khloe, and also often works with Ashley Graham and Olivia Culpo. In addition to working with the older generations of the KarJenner family, Justine is also the talented stylist responsible for Miss North West’s cute rainbow braids at her sixth birthday party!

Tracey Cunningham – Hairstylist to Kim and Khloe

Tracey has worked with Kim and Khloe for years, and has been dubbed Redken’s queen of celebrity colour. She began her career in hair when her she was working as a nanny for Bette Midler’s daughter, and Bette encouraged her to go to beauty school. She was responsible for Khlo’s beachy blonde ‘lob’.

Glen Coco For Hair – Hairstylist to Kourtney

Glen Coco (real name: Glen Oropeza) is responsible for Kourtney’s laid-back-locks, striking that amazing balance of smooth glossiness and beachy waves. He also regularly works with family friend Paris Hilton, and new bestie Addison Rae.

Chaun Legend – Nail tech to Kylie

Kylie Jenner’s look is never complete without a *major* manicure. From heat-changing nail polish to talons so sharp they could cut a steak, Kylie is known for her matching her style to her wild nails, most of which are courtesy of Chaun Legend. The nail tech, who was born in a refugee camp in Cambodia, is also the go-to manicurist of Cardi B. An at-home appointment from Chaun starts from 1,800Dhs and some designs can take up to eight hours to complete. Time literally is money!

Wow, so it really does take a village! Or is that more like a town? Either way, these Kardashian Jenner ladies’ sure don’t travel light when it comes to glam!
