You know how it is at Cosmo HQ, where the tea is, we follow. Obsessively that is.
While you may have finished gushing over the regional spin of Love is Blind, we were waiting for Nour El Hajj to make her grand appearance at Hikmat Wehbi to hear her spilling the tea.
After making it to the famed podcast show where the golden couple Safa and Mohammed, Mido, Dounia and Chafic made appearances, Nour, the series’ show stopper, finally made her way down to the studio to answer one of the burning questions.
According to previous interviews, a cast member brought out the fact that they were all at Love Is Blind Habibi for the exposure and fame.
But contrary to that, Nour came to the Netflix show with one intention only.

When Hikmat asked the Love is Blind Habibi star why she joined the reality show, she made one thing clear. “It’s a marriage show, what else would I be looking for?” she said laughing.
Hikmat reverted that she might have entered the series for exposure and fame, a nod to one of the cast member’s previous comments. But she reiterated, smartly might I add, “If I wanted to get famous and that was my goal, I could’ve used any other platform instead. So, obviously, for LIBH, I was there to find my match.”
“If my intention was to get famous, I would’ve chosen some other show,” she further stated.

Speaking candidly, she also mentioned that she didn’t understand where the hate stemmed from—especially since she left the series halfway through. “As you mentioned, I make the least appearances at events and have the least presence on social media. So, how would I have done all of that for the love of exposure?”
While the rest of the cast seemed to be quite content with their growing followers, Nour stated her rise to fame was a blessing from all the love she received from her fans. “It’s a blessing when people believe you and side with you, even if I left in the middle of the show and had the least screen time, people loved that I was a girl being herself,” she said to Hikmat.
But she did subtly jab that her on-screen partner may have stayed back in the show for the fame and screen time. “Maybe it’s not me who tried that, but rather the other person,” she replied.
“A relationship needs two people to happen, as we all know, so maybe the attempt to keep going came from the other person.”
Oh, did you know her on-screen one-time fiance had a love triangle edited out? No? Then read this.
