Uhm, we come bearings news girlies. And it’s literally hot off the press (no pun intended ofc).
While you’ve been snoozing off and tuning out of Love Is Blind, Habibi, we’ve been here waiting for some tea. And surely enough, tea did arrive—quite promptly, might I add.
It’s not a surprise that the latest Love is Blind, Habibi cast member to appear at Hikmat Wehbi’s podcast would be none other than, Mohamed “Mido” Gahed.
Since his appearance at the famed show, Mido has been in the spotlight for his turbulent relationship with the show’s It-girl, Nour El Haj. From a date that went simply…downhill, to jabs and roasts, and calling out each other on social media, whew, it’s been a whirlwind, to say the least.
But, there’s something that apparently brewed even before the whole Mido x Nour thing happened. Ready to find out?
Familiar names? In case you don’t remember the cast members, because of the unfortunate editors and production cut, Salim and Nada were pretty much written off the show. But a gentle reminder, Salim was the famed Mr 50/50, and Nada was the adventurous girlie who loved skydiving.
Thankfully, Mido, revealed a little secret to everyone to keep us in the loop behind-the-scenes. Mido, Nada, and Salim were in a love triangle (gasp).
No one really suspected anything (understandably). Mido said: “Salim, Nada and I, we were in a love triangle. We were competing over Nada.”
Despite not making the cut, he further revealed: “Nada and Salim were actually the perfect fit. One of the two couples who simply found each other.”
A complete downer that we didn’t get to see another couple on the altar. But he did mention a little setback that happened between Nada and Salim: “I told him [Salim] to go for Nada, but he was the problem. He told her, ‘I’m not ready.’ He even told me about it.”
Adding on the story, Mido mentioned: “Salim said that he was too anxious. Nada wanted to continue, but because of the anxiety, he couldn’t.”
Despite not appearing much in the 10-episode series, Nada and Salim seem to be living quite happily in their current separate lives. Salim has mainly been focusing on his fitness page and Nada, focusing on on slaying her Instagram.
