While some were out on romantic dates or celebrating Galentine’s during this year’s Valentine’s Day, heart throb Harry Styles was robbed in London. Ik, we were shocked at the news too. Apparently, the crime took place on the night of 14 February, and an unnamed man approached Harry “demanding for cash.”
According to the Metropolitan Police, who gave a statement to E! News, they were also investigating another case which sounded similar and included a robbery at knifepoint in that area. Scary stuff…
“Officers were contacted on Saturday, 15 February regarding the incident which happened at 23.50 hrs on Friday, 14 February. It was reported that a man in his 20s was approached by another man and threatened him with a knife. The victim was not injured; however, cash was taken from him,” stated the Metropolitan Police.
If you’re wondering how our favourite Directioner’s doing, he’s fine (apparently.) The Mirror Online reported that Harry “actually played it pretty cool, quickly giving the assailant cash, keeping himself and the guy calm and getting the situation over with.” Thank. God.
Understandably, the singer-songwriter was shaken up afterwards, but he was still able to make it to the Brits 2020 Awards.
The nominee for the British Male Solo Artist and British Album of the Year award wore a layered Gucci suit and even paid tribute to the late Love Island host (and his ex), Caroline Flack, by adding a black ribbon on his lapel. A real life angel (we must protect him at all costs.)
As for the robbery, Harry has not commented on it so far, and it is an ongoing investigation.
