As the world mourns the loss of Caroline Flack – who died on February 15 after suffering from depression – her friends and stars of reality show, Love Island have led the tribute as they continue to speak highly of who she was and how disappointed they are about the tragic news. 

New episodes of Love Island was suspended for two days following the news, but the show is set to return today. Laura Whitmore, the current host of Love Island posted a picture of her and Caroline, captioned, “I’m trying to find the words, but I can’t”.

ITV presenter Dermot O’Leary posted a picture of Caroline in a post on Instagram, saying, “Just the worst news. Poor soul. Sending love to hers, and yours. Hold them tight tonight people. X  Candles lit.”

Amber Davies, who won the 2017 series with Kem Cetinay posted a picture of Caroline hugging both winners. She captioned it, “This is going to hurt forever.”

Keith Lemon posted on Instagram, saying: “Shocked. I’ve known Caroline all my telly life. I have no words. Love to her family”

“Absolutely shocked and devastated at this tragic news,” Tess Daly tweeted. “Rest in peace Caroline you beautiful girl. My heart goes out to your family and loved ones at this time XXXX”
