Following Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey, fans all over social media came to the conclusion that it would be best for Oprah to interview Britney Spears as well. A tell-all interview is essentially what everyone *needs* – #FreeBritney.

Reportedly, Britney Spears would be open to sharing her side of her life story which shook the world, but it would have to be on her own terms. An Entertainment Tonight source said,
“Britney has considered speaking out about her past, mostly because she doesn’t feel others should tell her story. She’s always hated doing interviews, but if she ever takes that step, Oprah would most likely be her first choice. At this point, there is no plan in the works for her to do an interview, but when she does, there will be steps Britney would need to take before speaking out.”
However last week, another source from Us Weekly reported that “she does want to tell her story — just not through a televised interview.” AKA, the Oprah interview we’re dreaming of, *won’t* happen.
The source adds, “the report about Britney considering a tell-all is greatly exaggerated and essentially giving false hope to the fans who tweeted calls for it after the Harry and Meghan interview.”
