The Framing Britney Spears documentary, produced as part of the New York Times’ Hulu series The Weekly, has become a global sensation and has sparked up conversation once again about the Free Britney Movement. The #FreeBritney hashtag has been trending on social media ever since the documentary was released.

The documentary follows Spears’ career, her rise to fame, and her transformation into an iconic American public figure. We also get an inside look into the conservatorship she has been living under since 2008, overseen by her father James Spears.

Celebs from all over have come out to publicly apologize after the doc was released including Justin Timberlake, for painting her as a villain in his music and media appearances in the 2000s. It has also caused the world to reevaluate mocking her during her lowest moments, such as her 2007 breakdown.

If you are in the Middle East, the documentary is now available only on OSN and its streaming platforms.
