Dubai has updated their move permit request website.
Updates to the website indicate that people who wish to withdraw money can only do so every five days and those who wish to go to the pharmacy or grocery shopping can only apply for a permit every three days.
The website requires residents to share where they will be going and the purpose of their trip. There are two categories, work and personal. The personal category gives you three options: medical appointment, groceries/pharmacy and emergency.
Residents are also required to give their full names, Emirates ID number, home address and phone number.
Once the permit is submitted, they receive a message that states the permit is under process. If the permit is approved, residents receive a confirmation message.
