Ever since The Frankie Shop’s Eva T-shirt dropped last year, the Parisian brand has struggled to keep it in stock.

Seriously, each time it’s brought back, the cult piece just sells right out again. (Although celebs such as Rita Ora and Mathilde Goehler, as well as influencers like Camille Charrière, Pernille Teisbaek and Tiffany Hsu, still managed to snap it up tho, obvs).

It’s not hard to see why: this sleeveless top has a relaxed fit and padded shoulders to create a striking silhouette. It’s basically a muscle T-shirt from the ’80s, and we’re V. into that.

This baby is the key to taking your casual jeans-and-a-tee combos to the next level (let’s face it, that’s about all you’re wearing right now). Fashion editors have been styling it exactly like that – the denim usually black, and always high-rise – or tucking theirs into generously pleated pants in neutral hues.

We’re just gonna take a second to marvel at the simplicity of this coveted T-shirt, and get a lil’ jealous at the lucky women who have managed to get their hands on one:

Among them is Rita Ora, who recently posted a pic of herself wearing the brand’s white version layered with gold jewellery on Instagram. The sleeveless cut was perfect for showing off her arm tats.

Pernille Teisbaek has both the black and white colourways, which she styles with everything from cowboy boots to trainers.

Tiffany Hsu dressed hers up recently with a gold belt and Bottega shoes, proving that this white T-shirt is anything but basic.
