In order to flatten the curve and stop the continuous spread of the coronavirus, the UAE government continues to take precautions to minimise the spread and protect the lives of the residents.

Dubai Police has now resulted in using helicopters to continue to warn residents that are not complying with the #StayHomeStaySafe message. The helicopters have been seen by some residents across the emirate, repeatedly urging residents to remain indoors – in different languages.

Last week, the government announced the extension of the sterilization program and initiated a 24-hour lockdown for two weeks, starting 4 April to 18. Residents are only allowed to go out for essential needs – on the condition that they apply for a permit and wear face masks and gloves. Authorities have advised members of the public to maintain social distancing to prevent the spread of the virus.

Fyi, non-compliance to safety measures can lead to being fined and/or imprisonment.Â
