Ramadan is just around the corner and we know what that means, family time, good food, and we cannot forget about the TV shows that keep impressing and entertaining us year after year. We are all in for the Egyptian Drama! Here is a list of the best TV shows we think will really be on the top of the charts this Ramadan. 

1. Al Ekhteyar 2 -Regal al Zel

The sequel of last year’s big hit and being one of the most watched TV shows in 2020, Al Ekhteyar (The Choice) is back and better. The perfect mix of Karim Abdulaziz and Ahmed Mekky will bring the story of Mekky as a terrorist, and carrying on the heroic stories in Egyptian history.

2. Nasl El Aghrab

Amir Karara comes back with yet another show this year, and will continue to impress his audience, except this year he is in a powerful duo with Ahmed El Sakka. If you are a fan of both then you are in luck. In addition to that, they have a great female lead character joining, Mai Omar after her latest big success “Loloa” in 2020, she is coming back to TV.

3. Hagma Mortada

After Ahmed Ezz’ ramadan show being cancelled last year because of Covid and filming restrictions, He is back and better! So if you were bummed out about that last year, then you’re seeing his face on television this season with Hend Sabri, together back on screen after many years, you won’t wanna miss this one.

4. Mousa

Mohamed Ramadan is back again with a new character, new idea, and ready to impress everyone again with his great talent. Let’s see if he will steal the spotlight again this Ramadan just like he did last year with his great hit “El Brens”

5. Harb Ahleya

We obviously cannot forget about the queen of cinema who proves that acting has no limits and manages to keep everyone excited for her next project. Yousra is joined with Bassel Khayat as a male lead character, we are excited to see what those two will bring to screens this year.

6. Did El Kasr

Nelly Karim has never failed to make us obsessed with her work and extraordinary acting, from drama to psycho all the way to comedy in 2020. She is back to herself and ready for some drama in her 2021 television show, accompanied by another powerful woman Tara Emad. We cannot wait to see what they have prepared for us this year, but we are sure it will be great.

7. Newton’s Cradle

After being away from television for a while and focusing on film, Mona Zaki is back and better! She is accompanied by her recent film’s (The Black Box) partner Mohamed Farrag and with the talented Mohamed Mamdouh. We cannot wait to see what this show is about and have her back on our screens!

8. Kasr Al-Nile

Dina El Sherbiny has continued to shine and excel in her talent and job ever since the big 2019 hit (Zay El Shams) when she has the lead role all to herself. Ever since then she has been receiving great feedback and kept people wanting more, and this year is no different. If you are into her shows and like thriller television shows then this is the show for you!

9. Elle Maloush Kbeer

After both of their separate successes last year with their separate TV shows in Ramadan 2020, Yasmin Abdelaziz and Ahmed Al-Awady have been the power couple this year and will continue to shine together in their new TV show. We are sure that they’ll have chemistry on-screen chemistry as much as they do off-screen.

10. Khaly Balak Men Zizi

After a long list of dramatic and suspenseful television shows, Amina Khalil is finally here to lighten up the mood as she always does. After her big hit last year “ Leh La2” standing out of the crowd and releasing the show after Ramadan has ended yet still achieving great responses and views, she has really managed to portray a great image about women and their empowerment. She is back again accompanied by Mohamed Mamdouh in their light hearted show. We cannot wait to watch it because we simply cannot get enough of her!

11. Molouk Al Gad’ana 

Mostafa Shaban and Amr Saad are the ultimate duo this Ramadan, coming to screens with their sassy attitudes and great sense of humour from their little town. They truly set the highest expectations for true friendship and brotherhood for all of us. 

12. Ramez Aqlo Tar 

We can’t forget about the yearly lighthearted prank show that we all wait for. Ramez Galal is back again with another crazy idea and with a crazier guest list that includes Dina El Sherbiny, Jamila Awad, and Mohamed Henedy. Even though his show is really contreversial every year, we cannot deny the smiles he gives us with his humour and presence on camera. 

13. Covid 25 

The king of sci-fi shows and films is here with yet another one of his great ideas! Youssef El Sherif is playing Dr. Yassin, the head of a medical team, making a vaccine to combat dangerous viruses. Sound familiar?

14. El Nemr 

Mohamed Emam has brought us the story of an upper young Egyptian man that escapes to Cairo and gets into an accident that causes his memory loss. Follow his adventures and the way he meets Hannah el Zahed. 

15. Khams Nogoum 

This prank show is lighthearted and fun, full of a beautiful group of your fave celebs including Ghada Adel, Sharnouby, and Karim Fahmy. These guys are here to make you laugh and also make your heart beat so hard that you can barely feel it. We hope their guests are just as exciting as their cast.
