Ramadan began on Tuesday, 13 April and now that we’re halfway through, many are anticipating the dates for Eid Al Fitr. It was announced only this morning that UAE federal government employees will have a four or five day break for this upcoming Eid.
Eid al-Fitr holiday for the Federal Government is from
29th of #Ramadan until the 3rd of Shawwal

According to the Federal Authority For Government Human Resources, the break will be from Ramadan 29 to Shawwal 3.
Therefore if Ramadan lasts 29 days, there will be a four day break from Tuesday, May 11, to Friday, May 14.
However if Ramadan lasts 30 days, there will be a five-day break from Tuesday, May 11, to Saturday, May 15.
With the support of DCT Abu Dhabi, @yasisland will host 3 days of fireworks display to mark the occasion Eid al-Fitr. Events will be streamed live on Yas Island’s Instagram page as gatherings are prohibited to ensure public safety.

It was also revealed yesterday that there will be fireworks in the capital for Eid that’ll run for three days.
