Today marks the 91st Saudi National Day, and although we may not have a long weekend, the Kingdom deffo does – so why not celebrate with our KSA neighbours in spirit!

3 minute fireworks
This may be a no-brainer but the UAE’s iconic building, the Burj Khalifa, will be lighting up for KSA’s national day. A three-minute fireworks show will also be taking place around Dubai to mark the event. So keep your eyes peeled around Downtown Dubai, or Burj Al Arab’s skyline at 8pm and 9pm – you’ll be in for a treat.
Spotify’s patriotic playlist
Spotify has created a playlist called “Ana El Saudi,” which brings together some of the best male and female voices to pay homage to Saudis through a rich selection of patriotic songs. Have a listen to the top-streamed tracks like ‘Sawb Al Riyadh’ by Mashael.
Snapchat’s new map
Another social media platform that’s celebrating the KSA is Snapchat. Snap Inc. is launching a first-of-its-kind activation in the region where users will have the opportunity to join the festivities like never before through augmented reality (AR.)
The Saudi Snap Map will highlight historical sites and treasures including AlUla, Tabuk Castle, Khobar Water Tower, Rijal Almaa, Masmak Fort and Nassif House.

Dubai Aquarium
Another Dubai staple that’ll be celebrating this year’s National Day is the Dubai Aquarium. The KSA flag will be raised inside the aquarium as part of a unique underwater event and other special performances will be taking place at 11.45am, 2.45pm and 4.30pm, 23 September.
