Saudi is hosting inaugural post-Covid concerts to celebrate National Day

The Kingdom is going alllll out for the celebrations of the country’s 90th National Day with a string of live concerts. This is the first time that Saudi has seen live concerts since the Covid-19 pandemic started in March and we are totally missing live music. The concerts will be spread across the country from Jeddah to Riyadh and will feature some of the region’s biggest acts.

 

The first of the glamourous concerts is Emirati singer and judge of Arab Idol Ahlam, and will be hosted at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City on 22nd September.

 

Also on the 22nd, Saudi singer Asseel Abu Bakr and Bahraini singer Rashed Al-Majed will perform in Dammam.

The 23rd will see Majid al-Muhandis performing at the King Fahad Cultural Center in Riyadh. On this day Abadi al-Johar and Dalia Mubarak will also perform, at the King Abdullah Sports City. The days following will include performances from Angham, Tamer Ashour and Rabih Saqer.

 

The grand finale will be Amr Diab making his Saudi debut on September 26th at Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City.
