Nothing hits better after a long workday than unwinding with some quality reality trash TV. And with Netflix officially confirming Season 2 of Love Is Blind: Habibi, we’re very much seated.

The success of Season 1 proved once again that love, drama, and deeply emotional conversations transcend borders. After making waves across the region and earning an International Emmy nomination, the Middle East–focused spin-off of the hit dating experiment is back to ask its biggest question yet: can love really be blind?

If you missed the cultural milestone that was Season 1, here’s the rundown.

Love Is Blind: Habibi followed a group of singles in Dubai from across the Arab world, including Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Morocco, Iraq, Syria, and Tunisia, as they “dated” inside the pods. The only catch? They could only connect through conversation, forming emotional bonds without ever seeing each other. Proposals must happen before couples could meet, and only after saying “yes” can they finally come face-to-face in dramatic unveilings.

Season 1 truly delivered, giving its international counterparts a run for their money. Six couples left the pods engaged and entered the real world, where Arab cultural expectations, family opinions, and personal boundaries quickly put their connections to the test.

While several relationships unravelled under the pressure, Safa Al Juboori and Mohammed AlKiswani emerged as the breakout success story, becoming the only couple to say “I do” at the altar. Other pairs, including Dounia Allbrahim and Chafic Yactine and Asma Sami and Khatab Hindi, became fodder to millions of fan discussions on TikTok thanks to their emotional journeys and post-show ambiguity.

Now, with Season 2 on the way, Netflix promises even more vulnerability, representation, and honest conversations rooted in regional values and traditions. Expect new singles, new love triangles, and plenty of moments that will have you texting “????” to the group chat.

While the release date hasn’t been announced yet, one thing is certain: Love Is Blind: Habibi is back and about to take over all of our lunch break conversations.
