A couple of weeks ago, Netflix released an exclusive Love is Blind Brazil szn 3 live reunion episode, giving us the chance to catch up with all our favourite (and not so favourite) married couples from the show. We were pleasantly surprised to reunite with a few special guests from szn 2 who made an appearance in the audience, including the beloved Thamara Terez who was joined by her unforgettable father, Wanderlei.

Let’s zero in on the Love is Blind Brazil szn 2 alumna for a moment…
In the five final minutes of the reunion episode, hostess Amanda Souza ended up asking Thamara a question that was on the tip of all our tongues: What happened between you and Alisson?
For context, after supporting what we thought was a solid marriage between Thamara and Alisson Hentges from Love is Blind Brazil szn 2, it was announced that Alisson had allegedly cheated on his now ex-wife. Thamara’s wound was still fresh when Amanda addressed the cheating scandal since the rumours had surfaced not too long before the Love is Blind Brazil szn 3 live reunion episode.
Although Thamara probably expected that she would be asked about the scandal just by virtue of being in the audience, when push came to shove, the alumna crumbled under the weight of her emotions. “I thought I was calm,” whispered Thamara, “but I’m not anymore. My heart is racing.”

Thamara broke down when confronted with Amanda’s probing question. She tried to keep her composure, but her tears betrayed her – “I’m so angry,” she cried while hyperventilating. This soon turned into shaking, and Thamara was on the verge of a nervous breakdown – in an attempt to console her, hostess Amanda Souza gently held her hand.
Even Love is Blind Brazil‘s host Klebber chimed in with a few words of encouragement, urging Thamara to carry on in spite of her grief. With tears streaming down her face, Thamara plucked up the courage to share, “It was the most profound experience of my life. I didn’t have to worry about work or about anything. I could really experience what I was feeling, and I could just be me. It was the phase of my life that I was my purest self.”

Amanda squeezed Thamara’s hand and smiled, reassuring the LIB Brazil szn 2 alumna that she was seen and heard. But as luck would have it, right when Amanda was on the brink of asking Thamara for more information… Italo cut her short.
“Guys, this guy sure likes to talk, doesn’t he?” exclaimed Amanda, “you’re out here poking me, ruining the moment!” The attention abruptly shifted towards Italo and away from Thamara, leaving Thamara perplexed and disappointed.

As covered by us previously, Italo ended up proposing to Karen on stage in front of the entire audience, ending the Love is Blind Brazil szn 3 reunion episode on a spectacular note. And so, they lived happily ever after, right? Wrong (!!) Italo and Karen broke up *very* shortly after the proposal due to cheating allegations against Italo. Oh, how the tables have turned…

The most heart-wrenching part of Thamara’s breakdown and Italo’s unwanted interruption (through no fault of his own – the show was clearly running low on time) was Thamara’s inability to stand up among the applauding audience once the show came to an end.
Visibly upset, Thamara is the only audience member seen sitting down and refraining from clapping. I mean really, can you blame the poor woman for her reaction?
