Eight (long) months have elapsed since *five out of the five* Love is Blind Brazil season 3 couples said “I do,” and during this time, we’ve asked ourselves so many questions about the show. Was their love real? Are their marriages built to last? Did some couples call it quits?
Fortunately, courtesy of Netflix, all these burning questions have been answered in a spectacular Love is Blind Brazil szn 3 live reunion episode. Fans all over the world praised the episode for its high-quality production and Klebber/Camila’s magnificent hosting.

We were reintroduced to the season’s couples who lit up the stage in gorgeous gowns and sophisticated suits. Parents and loved ones cheered in the audience, and we even caught up with contestants from previous seasons. The vibes were ~wholesome~.

But naturally, the hosts skillfully asked all the burning questions to which we were dying to know the answers. And the drama. was. insane. But that’s not all… a shocking turn of events occurred after the live episode, and we’re here to spill *all* the deets.
The truth about Love is Blind Brazil szn 3, once and for all…
1. The Separation Saga
As the hosts reintroduced the Love is Blind couples one by one, green lights confirmed that the pair was still married whereas red lights indicated that the pair had called it quits. One after the other, the green light of love shined on Maria & Menandro, Agata & Renan, Daniela & Daniel, and Bianca & Jarbas. Until… it was Karen and Valmir’s turn. The red light that shone on the former couple was blinding, their silence ~deafening~.

We can’t say we didn’t see this coming – fans and the former couple’s co-stars have always had their doubts as to the legitimacy of the couple’s love. Luckily, the hosts relentlessly got to the bottom of what went wrong between the two.
It turns out their marriage lasted only *two weeks*! Karen claimed that 3 days into their “marriage,” Valmir had asked Karen to leave his home – she said that she felt degraded and invalidated in Valmir’s presence, so she decided to call it quits. As for Valmir, he claimed that the couple was incompatible and that he didn’t want to live an unhappy life with Karen. Ouch.

So, that settles it: only 4 out 5 couples on Love is Blind Brazil szn 3 were in it *for real*.
2. Barbara unfollowed Menandro
As you may recall, Maria and Menandro once had an explosive argument due to him following another female contestant from the show (and the female contestant following him back). Maria called Menandro “deceptive” because she was under the impression that they had made a deal to unfollow all former contestants of the opposite gender from their time on the show.
Well, Menandro confessed that he unfollowed Barbara after their argument. But did Barbara unfollow him back? The former Love is Blind contestant was invited onto the stage to answer the question in person.
Barbara was very understanding of Maria’s jealousy and said that such feelings are normal in a healthy relationship. She announced that she’d unfollowed Menandro out of respect for Maria and that she was rooting for the couple. We love to see women supporting other women.
3. Ana Carolina is confronted about her lie
Remember when Ana Carolina told Agata that she was Renan’s first choice? Completely untrue because Renan told Agata that he only had eyes for her. Well, that lie left Agata in tears and dimmed her sparkle.

The hosts called Ana Carolina on stage to hear her side of the story. Agata was very understanding, saying that it must’ve been Ana’s confusion that made her lie. Ana agreed, sharing that she was confused and overly excited, but she also insinuated that she was trying to score Renan through any means necessary. Hostess Camila *grilled* Ana, claiming that she lied, plainly and simply. But Ana never admitted to telling lies.
In the end, Ana Carolina said the couple was a perfect match and that she wishes them happiness.
4. The hosts ~grill~ Valmir
By his own admission, Valmir didn’t come into Love is Blind with the intention of getting married. Unlike Karen who was in it for the long run, Valmir shared that he entered the competition to “experience something exciting.”
Hostess Camila responded that the whole goal of the show was to get married, and co-host Klebber agreed, saying marriage is what the show is about. Camila even was so far as to call Valmir “shameless.” Questions from social media came rolling in, and when Valmir was asked if he regretted any of his actions during the show, he said no and that he “did what he had to do.”
5. Valmir’s alleged side relationship
At a certain point, the hosts asked Valmir to comment on rumours regarding him being in another relationship during the show. Stalling, Valmir took a deep breath and ended up sharing that he was in an “on-again-off-again” relationship before the show, but he was completely single when he started Love is Blind Brazil szn 3. It’s giving ~cryptic~.
6. Italo roasts Valmir
Ciao, Italo! The third member of the Valmir, Karen, and Italo love triangle made a special appearance on the live reunion episode. Right at the outset, Italo insinuated that Valmir was in competition with him throughout the show. Shockingly, Italo called Valmir “worthless” and “a liar” in front of the entire audience!
Italo doubled down on the roasting, claiming that Valmir’s 2-week marriage was a lie and fake, to which the whole audience applauded. Oh, dear…
7. Karen is dating Italo
In a (not so) shocking turn of events, Karen confessed that she approached Italo on Instagram and that, after some time, the two officially began dating. The couple even shared a kiss on stage to prove their relationship status.

8. Dani and Dani ~in tears~
This special couple’s drama is entirely positive and wholesome. As the husband and wife watched a rolled-back tape of their time on the show, Daniel was literally sobbing out of love and gratitude for Daniela.
Daniel tearfully shared that Dani was “the best thing that ever happened to him.” His voice was shaking, and he couldn’t hold back the tears of appreciation towards his wife. Daniel was particularly moved by the recent loss of Daniela’s father who she loved very much. We were crying too!
9. Daniel apologizes to Patricia
You may remember that Daniel turned Patricia down because he considered some of her opinions to be immodest. Daniela shared that Daniel deeply regrets how he treated Patricia, and that he’s learned from his mistake.
When Patricia walked onto the stage, she confirmed that Daniel had apologized to her via a voice message. But Daniel wanted to make amends in person, so he told Patricia that he was ashamed of his actions and that he respects her opinions. He extended his deep apology not only to Patricia but also to his mother and all woman at large. Patricia was appreciative of his accountability and wished him and Dani all the best as a couple.
10. Bianca and Jarbas went to couples therapy
The ~tea~ on this couple is that they fought so much at the beginning of their relationship that they had to go to couples therapy. Jarbas admitted that they weren’t a perfect couple, but Bianca added that marriage is a daily choice. They shared that they subsequently evolved a lot as a couple and that they now know how to resolve their differences.

11. Thamara from season 2 breaks down over Alisson
Our favorite season 2 alumna, Thamara, showed up to the season 3 live reunion and lit up the audience. When asked about her experience on the show with her ex Alisson – who recently cheated on her – Thamara broke down in tears of sadness and anger.
Visibly shaking and hyperventilating, the Love is Blind Brazil season 2 star was at a loss for words. She did share, though, that it was the most profound thing she’d ever experienced, and that she was her purest most carefree self. Unfortunately, Italo interrupted Thamara’s vulnerable moment, but it all made sense why afterward…
12. Italo pops the question
In the last few moments of the show, Italo confessed his undying love for Karen and got down on one knee! “Karencita, will you marry me?” asked Italo. And Karen said yes. And so, the couple lived happily ever after… or did they?
13. Italo and Karen break up
In a (seriously) shocking turn of events following the live reunion, Karen took to Instagram in a post that implicitly confirmed her split from Italo.
Rumours of Italo’s infidelity have been swirling around in the reality TV gossip sphere, and Karen’s post seemed to confirm the rumours. In fact, Italo himself published a video confirming their separation.
Karen’s split from Italo corroborates fans’ suspicions that Italo never truly loved Karen and that he was simply competing with Valmir for the limelight. Unfortunately, fans concluded that the marriage proposal was purely for clout.
Thankfully, Karen’s female co-stars rushed to her defense in the comments section. Maria shared, “Wrong people pass through our lives to know what is non-negotiable! You are strong! Remember what I told you this morning! 💞🙌🏻” And even Agata’s husband Renan, commented, “Only those who know you know how big this heart is. We are always here with you!”
In a touching comment, Daniela shared, “We will always be here, holding your hand and supporting you my love, the storms come for us to evolve and become stronger, you will rebuild yourself and come out stronger than ever, I LOVE YOU @karenbacic we will not let go of your hand! ❤️”
