We all know how complicated a situation can get when a third party gets involved. As the LIB Brazil pairs have progressively gotten to know one another, a few love triangles have formed, but the survival of the fittest rewarded us with some emotional proposals. We’re here to fill you in on some proposals and love triangles in Love is Blind Brazil season 3.

Love triangle A: Maria, Valmir, and Menandro
At first, Maria and Valmir seemed to be soulmates. Valmir developed an obsession with Maria right from the get-go because, among other things, she shares his mom’s name. The infatuation was entirely reciprocal until Maria found out that Valmir had been sweet talking to all the other girls with the same intensity.
Menandro soon entered the picture, and at the outset, Maria wasn’t too keen on him out of loyalty for Valmir. But when Maria confronted Valmir about how all the other girls were enchanted by him, his slightly angry tone triggered Maria – it was reminiscent of past toxic relationships that she had been in.

Proposal #1
By contrast, Menandro was nothing but kind and gentle with Maria. They discussed Maria’s triggering past, and Menandro was very patient and understanding. She vowed to never repeat the toxic cycle and slowly began to see that Menandro was the right man for her.
They established a deep emotional connection without seeing each other. So much so that Menandro proposed, and Maria said yes !! They were both *elated* when they saw each other for the first time – Maria found him way more attractive than she had expected. This healthy couple is giving us ~all the feels~, and we’re proud of Maria for putting an end to the toxicity.

Love triangle B: Valmir, Karen, and Italo
Valmir has built quite a reputation for himself among the ladies, so we were curious to see what his romantic fate would be.
Italo and Karen seemed to have a lot in common at first. He was so excited about being with Karen that he already planned their trip to the mountains. We love an ~efficient~ man.
But deep down, Karen had a *soft spot* for Valmir. She’s a lawyer, so her sense of justice prevented her from judging Valmir based on what the other girls had been saying about him behind his back. She had to make a choice between her head and her heart.

Proposal #2
In a shocking turn of events, Karen ended up choosing Valmir. Italo was absolutely crushed – he even cried. To be fair, Karen cried too, but she had to follow her heart. So much love (and heartbreak)!
Technically, Karen had her sights set on Valmir and asked for his hand in marriage. When they saw each other for the first time, Valmir went down on one knee and proposed. We’re super curious to find out whether or not Karen will regret listening to her heart!

Love triangle C: Agata, Renan, and Ana
Agata’s been through some turbulent relationships that made her the cautious person she is today. She and Renan instantly hit it off due to their shared passion for dancing. The problem is, Renan gives off a player vibe, and Agata doesn’t want to get her heart broken again. Renan reassures Agata that he isn’t like that at all – they discuss that they both want to get married.
Similarly, Ana claims to have no time for superficial games. In her pursuit of depth, she comes off as too hasty, and Renan was slightly taken aback when she swiftly brought up the topic of marriage. In Renan’s eyes, Agata is his first choice.
Shockingly, Ana convinced the rest of the girls, including Agata, that Renan told her she was his top choice. The false rumor brought Agata to *tears* !!

Proposal #3
When Agata confronted Renan about what Ana had said, Renan categorically denied the rumors. He said that his connection with Agata was the deepest one he’d ever felt.
This messy situation taught Agata to trust herself more as opposed to listening to idle chatter.
Renan ended up proposing to Agata! They fell *blindly* in love, but when the doors slid open and they laid eyes on each other for the first time, they both loved what they saw. This couple is ~next level~ cute!

Love triangle D: Daniel, Daniela, and Patricia
Patricia and Daniel seemed to have a lot in common at first. Things quickly got *intense* between the two, but unfortunately, Daniel didn’t like how forward Patricia was – he felt that their connection was skin deep.
Meanwhile, Daniel and Daniela have so much in common – they even share the same name! They bonded over their similar family values and shared ambition.
Patricia overheard Daniela telling the rest of the girls that Daniel believes certain conversations should only be had in private with his *wife*.

Proposal #4:
Patricia frustratingly confronts Daniel about his distaste for their conversation, and he tells her that he in no way meant to belittle her. Unfortunately, given that Patricia labelled Daniel as ~toxic~, the two did not end things on a positive note.
Meanwhile, Daniel is head-over-heels for Daniela, confessing that he “no longer has eyes for anyone but her.” Daniela tearfully discloses that her father is very sick, and that she wants him to see her as a bride while he’s still alive.
Daniel ends up popping the question, and it brings Daniela to ~tears~! It was seriously *emotional* seeing Daniela kneel down to show Daniel that she is on his level. Daniel said he ended up “feeling emotions he didn’t know he had.”
Dani squared for life! Or at least, we hope.

The proposal that was immune to love triangles
Love is Blind Brazil season 3 had ~one~ special couple that had eyes for only each other. Right at the outset, Bianca and Jarbas developed a unique emotional connection. Bianca harbored certain insecurities regarding her physical appearance, but Jarbas eased her fears, and when the doors slid open… he *proposed*.
So far, this pair is the only pair that steered clear of love triangles on this season of Love is Blind Brazil. But only time will tell if this remains the case.
