Niall Horan is all over the news. The artist has just released his third album called The Show and is actively promoting it through social media. As promised, there are no songs about breakups (seems, things go pretty smoothly with his long-term boo Amelia Woolley), so we’re officially on a good-vibes-only journey when listening to new tracks 🙌.

In a cover story for Cosmopolitan UK, Niall Horan mentioned that the album was recorded during the lockdown which happened to be the most chilled period for him in the last…13 years. Yup, as a part of One Direction, one of the greatest boy bands the world has ever seen, he was ~busy~.
For us fans, these were the good old days: stalking boys on Twitter, saving up allowances to see them perform live, and reading fanfictions. But Harry, Liam, Louis, Zayn, and Niall, too, have sliiightly different memories.

What did Niall Horan say about being in One Direction?
What One Direction members would actually remember is, for instance, crowds chasing them everywhere. That’s why Nial Horan said to Cosmo UK that he loved touring, but it was ~freaking~ crazy.
“We’d go to countries and never see a second of it – it was hotel, venue, plane, same again. We couldn’t get out the [hotel] door. If you went out in the car, you’d be seen and chased [by fans]. I understand why it was going on, but it gave me a thing where, when I came back to London, I would be afraid to go out. There was a period where I actually couldn’t,” shared the artist.
