Usfuur jewellery has quickly become the latest regional brand on our radar, and it should be on yours too.

The Dubai-based fine jewellery brand was creatred by regional designer Yara Tlasdebuted in 2016. Their brand concept is dedicated to fashion and charity - we love to see it.

The word "usfuur" translates to bird in Arabic, and, even more significantly, is a universal sign for peace. Not only that, their actual motto is "jewellery with purpose #onePieceforPeace."

The brand use a bird-motif across some of their designs, which follows a very minimalistic, contemporary jewellery kinda vibe as is crafted in 18k yellow gold, stirling silver and even fresh water pearls.

And, get this, they're also sustainable

As if this ethical Emirati brand couldn't get any more impressive, a percentage of the brands' sales goes to Watanili, a grassroots organisation behind a learning centre in Turkey for refugeed Syrian children.

We're sold. These beautiful pieces will be added to our wishlist ASAP.

Usfuur is a staple at Dubai Design Week, but not to worry, you can also purches their jewels online via Maison Orient, or if you ever find yourself in Kuwait, they have a pop-up at Harvey Nichols Kuwait.
