Cosmo ME: Why do you think it’s so powerful to see Fable & Mane celebrating Indian hair rituals and beauty traditions through a modern lens?
Kareena Kapoor: India is known for its roots and traditions, and we’re also known for our beautiful, luscious hair. We’ve always looked after it through oiling, regular massages, and homegrown ingredients like amla and ashwagandha.

Cosmo ME: Since hair can be such a deep part of identity and confidence, how do you personally connect to the idea of finding strength through your hair?
Kareena Kapoor Khan: I love oiling my hair and it’s something I’ve done all my life. As an actor, we do so much to our hair every day, heat styling, blow-drying, and constant changes, so taking care of it comes naturally to me.
I’m very particular about the products I use, whether it’s oils, shampoos, or conditioners. When my hair feels healthy, it adds to my confidence and sense of beauty.

For me, that’s Indian haircare traditions, with natural, homegrown ingredients. I think the best kind of beauty is the kind that feels true to who you are.
