After the mess that was the Love is Blind Season Four Reunion, emotions are running high in the Love is Blind fanbase as audiences are eagerly awaiting the re-telecast of the episode. Who can blame them?! They (We 😭) waited for hours after which Netflix officially issued an announcement and an apology, giving us the updated time slot for the re-telecast.

Turns out, it’s not only the fanbase that demanded an explanation from hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey but also one of the contestants Paul Peden, who spoke to ET right after the climactic reunion. In the post-show interview, Paul said, “Vanessa might have had a little bit of personal bias in that scenario,” referring to the host’s cross-questioning of the comments he made about Micah; re: motherly instincts.

One thing’s for sure, Love is Blind is good at keeping people talking even after the end of a season. This time, it’s not Jackie/Marshall/Josh, dramatic turning down of proposals (thank god), or drawn-out love triangles *yawn*. The hosts of Love is Blind, Nick and Vanessa Lachey, are in hot water for their “biased” approach to hosting the reality series.

We went down a Twitter (and TikTok, ofc) rabbit hole to get you the hottest tea, the best reactions, and possible explanations for this outrage against Nick and Vanessa Lachey of Love is Blind.

Buckle up, cause it’s a rough ride with lots of spoilers.

The obvious bias

Their lack of training and qualifications

A worthy replacement for Love is Blind hosting duties

@simplysimone We need Lauren and Cameron as the permanent hosts already #loveisblind #nicklachey #vanessalachey ♬ original sound – Simone Umba

@monicagross22 PETITION FOR LITERALLY ANYONE OTHER THAN NICK AND VANESSA LACHEY TO HOST THIS REUNION #loveisblind#loveisblindreunion#loveisblindfinale ♬ original sound – Monica Gross

After facing some (a lot of 😬) backlash on the internet, and also from Paul directly, it seems like Vanessa is waving the white flag. The television host apologized to the contestant with flowers that he posted on Instagram alongside the caption “Thanks for acknowledging the accidental misleading.” Cheeky.
