Host and podcaster of The Viall Files, Nick Viall, had Love is Blind season 4 #MCM Marshall Glaze on his show to dissect just. about. everything. There’s so much to unpack.
As we know (and as we should by now), Marshall Glaze from Love is Blind season 4 has just wrapped up the reunion, and there’s been a lot of Jackie-Marshall-Josh questions that have gone unanswered. Marshall hopped onto The Viall Files to set the record straight on plenty of dramz.
Check out 6 of the shocking things we found out from this one-hour podcast episode with Marshall Glaze below…

This isn’t the first time that Marshall has been engaged
“I was 23 and it just didn’t work out, we decided to call it off, it was a very amicable split,” Marshall Glaze told Nick Viall. The LIB season 4 contestant and his ex were together for 3 years before they called things off, he says that it ‘dissolved how it should have’, and he took a lot of lessons from it.
A year after he had split from his engagement, Marshall was reached out to by Love is Blind producers.
He had never watched Love is Blind before
When being cast for the Netflix reality TV show, Marshall actually didn’t know it was Love is Blind, and he had never even watched the show before. “I’m not a big reality TV person,” he said, he had only really watched the season of The Bachelorette for his cousin Justin Glaze.
He gravitated towards Jackie because she was so charismatic

“I gravitated towards Jackie because it was easy, she had this persona that was encapsulating,” he described to Nick Viall. When discussing what happened to the couple in Mexico, Marshall discussed that the downfall of their relationship began was with Jackie’s “huge personality shift.”
He was really, really close to Josh

Marshall was actually “never going to physically fight Josh” because he described the two as actually having a really “deep bond” in the pods. It was surprising to Marshall that Josh was also in love with Jackie because he knew Josh had *also* told Monica, another castmate, that he was going to leave the pods if he wasn’t going to leave with her. Marshall was shocked by that same ultimate Josh had set on Jackie.
“It was a miscommunication, he was articulating himself the only way that he knew how,” he cleared up after revealing *that* tidbit.
He didn’t know Jackie’s father had cancer

“First of all, I’d like to say I’m praying for her father’s health, I had no idea that he had cancer” Marshall began when discussing Jackie’s breakdown in Mexico. He didn’t speak further on her family life as he said that it was for Jackie to tell, but he did know that she had a lot going on.
The timeline dramz about her seeing Josh before or after the tux fitting is still ~unsolved~

Now this is a tough one. The internet has been debating back and forth about whether or not Jackie saw Josh and *then* broke up with Marshall Glaze, or vice versa. Although she posted receipts (then deleted them), you can click here to check that out. Marshall touched on the subject in the podcast saying ‘it’s unfortunate that whatever the internet is saying, she’s being berated…I don’t remember what that timeline was but I have a theory that they met on Thursday before the tux and dress fittings on Friday’.
He did say that he knew for a “fact” that the coffee shop scene happened *after* the tux fitting day.
