One thing the world always needs is more Billie Eilish. So, when the news broke that Apple TV+ would be releasing a documentary film all about Billie and her stratospheric rise to international stardom, we were fairly excited to say the least. The even better news is that Apple has now finally released a trailer and a release date for the upcoming doc.
Here’s everything we know about Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry.
What’s The World’s a Little Blurry about?
The documentary film, titled Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little Blurry, tells the story of Billie’s journey to international stardom, following her on the road, onstage and at home with her family. The film also gives us an intimate look inside her personal life, reminding us that despite “141 nominations, 137 million followers, 55 billion streams, 19 songs on the Billboard 100 and five Grammy awards,” Billie is still a 17 year-old-girl. The documentary follows her as she gets her drivers license, cleans her new car and tells the camera that she sleeps in her parents bed because she’s scared of “monsters” in her room.
The film also charts the period in Billie’s life where she is writing, recording and releasing her debut album, WHEN WE FALL ASLEEP, WHERE DO WE GO? The album would go onto win multiple awards and catapult Billie to stardom.
