It’s been approximately one year since Jordyn Woods’ scandal with Tristan Thompson went public—feel old yet? You should, TBH, because literally so much has happened since then. Khloé Kardashian understandably broke up with Tristan, Jordyn did her infamous Red Table Talk lie detector test to prove her innocence, and the whole ordeal caused Jordyn’s friendship with Kylie Jenner to dissolve. But that’s totally okay, because they both seem just fine and Kylie’s hanging with a new crew that would put Paris Hilton’s My New BFF to shame.
“Kylie has been doing well since her and Jordyn’s friendship ended,” an Us Weekly source said. “She loves hanging with all her crew of girls now, including Stassie [Karanikolaou], Yris [Palmer] and Victoria [Villarroel].” Glad to hear it.
Despite spending a big chunk of her time with Jordyn in the past, the insider says Kylie feels “very comfortable” and like “her complete self” with her new besties. “They all just have a fun time together like any other close group of girlfriends. They laugh a lot and share similar interests and are supportive of one another. Kylie is very sweet and down-to-earth, and so are her friends.”
Kylie might be feeling more settled now that the scandal has finally simmered down, but while it was happening, it was A LOT. Apparently, Kylie “felt very stuck in the middle, but ultimately, [she and her family] are so close, and they suggested that Kylie stay away [from] Jordyn and had the mentality of, ‘Once a backstabber, always a backstabber,’” a second Us source said. “They felt that it was completely unacceptable. The situation didn’t just damage Kylie and Jordyn’s relationship, but it was a huge family ordeal.”
And although Kylie has cultivated a new set of friends, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t think about Jordyn. “Kylie is such a lover, and she of course misses Jordyn at points, but she was more affected by the hurt that was inflicted upon her family versus her relationship with Jordyn directly,” Us’ second source added. “The family still feels like what Jordyn did is pretty unforgivable. Kylie has the mentality that time heals everything, but now is not the right time.”
