UPDATE 18/04: After weeks of speculation (and denial), JLo and ARod have *officially* called it quits on their relationship with JLo confirming the news on the Today show on April 15.
The (ex-)duo released a statement saying: “We have realized we are better as friends and look forward to remaining so. We will continue to work together and support each other on our shared businesses and projects. We wish the best for each other and one another’s children. Out of respect for them, the only other comment we have to say is thank you to everyone who has sent kind words and support.”
And while it seemed as though everything is amicable and would be shielded from the public eye, ARod had other plans… He took to his Instagram stories to post a 10-second long video tagging JLo (talk about subtle) and reminiscing over their past. The video featured a framed photo of the pair circa happier times aka at a 2020 NYE’s party. It also featured another picture frame with two photos of JLo from two of her performances, and last but deffo not the least, it ended on a picture of their names drawn in a heart on the sand. Ouch.
If you thought that was painful, wait till you hear what song was playing in the back… Fix You by Coldplay.
I guess it’s safe to say ARod is feeling pretty nostalgic about their relationship and taking it a lil hard. Well, here’s hoping both of them are able to move on and be happy again.

Not long after Kim K filed for divorce from Kanye and Kelly Mi Li and Andrew Gray broke up, Jennifer Lopez, 51, and Alex Rodriguez, 45, seem to be having trouble in paradise.
Since Alex proposed to JLo in 2019 with the most humongous diamond in the Bahamas (future husband, take notes) after dating for two years, fans have been looking forward to the extravagant wedding ceremony.
Although we would’ve guessed COVID-19 would’ve been the reason to throw a spanner into the works of their dream wedding, we didn’t think it would be because their relationship was on the rocks.
On 12 March, 2021, rumours multiple sources reported that a break up was in the cards for the pair. This came just a month after speculations of an affair were reported between Alex and Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy.
However, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief because the couple released a statement to TMZ assuring the public they are still together. The pair also noted they “are working through some things” but TMZ reported that there was no third-party involved.
Here’s hoping this power couple can come out the other end stronger, I don’t know how many more breakups I can take this year––it’s only March!
