Music videos have been just as much an escape as their soundtracks are. We’ve all got that *one* music video that not only puts us in a ~ feel-good ~ mood but also has us rewatching it on a loop cause we can’t get enough of it.

With us almost halfway through the year, we’re looking back on the best music videos of 2022 up until now.

BLACKPINK – Pink Venom

*Points to arm* GOOSEBUMPS.

Marshmello x Nancy Ajram – Sah Sah

Say hello to the song that’s been on a loop ever since it’s out. Is there a better collab than this? We think not.

Manal – Makhelaw Magalou

This music video is *all* about celebrating Moroccan culture and empowering women. Manal takes us on a trip back in time to showcase the beauty of her culture and heritage.

Majid Al Mohandis – Waarftek

I mean, nothing is dreamier than Majid’s voice and having Irina Shayk feature in this 2022 music video. NGL, we’re still not over this.

Hamaki – Gamalha Estethnaey

Hamaki is ofc known for his killer beats, so when he released this beautiful ballad with this emotional music video, we low-key freaked out.

Black Eyed Peas & Shakira – Don’t You Worry

This music video is *so* relatable to what is going on around the world today, yet adds a bit of optimism and a positive outlook on the situation. Plus, the song and Shakira’s moves will get you dancing non-stop.

Jack Harlow – First Class

Now that we’ve established he’s the internet’s boyfriend, are we really going to miss his track? Sorry, that’s a no from us. The track is part of Jack’s second single from Come Home The Kids Miss You and is an unmissable hit.

Noor Stars – Business

Us leaving office right on time with over a hundred unread emails and pending work: ‘Business is business ya Habibi’. The Iraqi YouTuber’s 2022 track is as catchy as it gets.

PSY – That That (prod. & feat. SUGA of BTS)

Two K-pop legends in one music video? Petition to get this moment framed for eternity, please. PSY’s collab with the BTS member got him to the Hot 100 Billboard chart after more than a decade.

Elissa & Saad Lamjarred – Min Awel Dekika

Obsessed is an understatement at this point and there’s no reason why you shouldn’t add this gold mine to your playlist. Min Awel Dekika’s music video is currently trending #1 in the music category on YouTube so if you’ve missed it, here’s your chance to hit play.

Doja Cat – Get Into It (Yuh)

We’ll be listening to this while we manifest and patiently wait for the queen to drop a new album. This single was part of the American singer’s third studio album Planet Her and was released in late January.

Labrinth – Mount Everest

This one’s got some serious main character energy (especially for those Monday blues) and the music video is pure perfection.

Lizzo – About Damn Time

Lizzo is back with a serious banger and this one’s going to be played on full blast 24/7 (sorry not sorry). We’re calling this the literal anthem for every gal group there is. Periodt.

Elyanna & Balti – Ghareeb Alay

Ahem, the duo is killin’ it here so here’s our not-so-subtle attempt at telling you that it’s ICONIC.

Rawan Feat Daffy – Adios

The Kuwaiti artist has literally got us hooked to the tune and we’re living for it. Get yourself acquainted with this rising star ASAP.

Harry Styles – As It Was

After a two-year hiatus, say hello to his new single (and album) that’ll we’ll be playing on repeat 24/7. FYI: It’s breaking records literally everywhere.

Siilawy – Lessa Ma’aki

The Jordanian singer and songwriter Siilawy has quickly gone viral amassing over a million subscribers in only a year and he’s only getting started.

Trinidad Cardona, Davido and Aisha – Hayya Hayya (Better Together)

Can we make some commotion for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 soundtrack? It’s straight-up fire. The single features Nigerian artist Davido, American singer Trinidad Cardona, and Qatari singer Aisha.
