Brb, we’ll be spending the best part of 2024 manifesting another season of Netflix’s smash hit, AlRawabi School for Girls.

If you’re as obsessed with the show as us (if you aren’t we can’t be besties, sorry), it seems the universe has ~delivered~.

The cast of the show’s second season has reunited to appear in a special poetic short film in collaboration with The Giving Movement.

The short film, titled “GIVING”, is part of The Giving Movement’s new campaign, “A Story of Giving,” and is written by Palestinian-Syrian AlRawabi actress Lana Al Beik. Directed by Omani film director Chndy, “GIVING” is a cinematic poem of friendship, resilience, heritage, and togetherness, narrated by Lana and her co-stars, Sarah Yousef, Raneem Haitham, Thalia Elansari.

Shot in Ammam, the Rawabi girls depict what giving means to them over stunning visuals of the natural landscapes. The Netflix original series has amassed huge acclaim for its powerful themes of Arab culture and society. The show explores stories of bullying, social justice, female empowerment and, above all, strength and friendships. Cementing its position as a conscious fashion brand, The Giving Movement’s campaign film underlines the power of generosity and the strength found in community and heritage. The brand is renowned for its charity initiatives and is a long-running partner of Dubai Cares.
