It’s quite rare for cast members to be as close in real life as they appear to be on set. When this is the case, the show in question instantly becomes more exciting and refreshing.
The AlRawabi School for Girls, Season 2 cast is one such example of a tight-knit group, and it is precisely because of the organic and authentic bond they share that Creator and Director Tima Shomali decided to put them together in the first place. Because of the real-life sisterhood that the cast members formed off-screen, we’re ten times more excited to watch the show as it premieres today, February 15, exclusively on Netflix.
The AlRawabi School for Girls cast are *actually* close IRL…
The AlRawabi School for Girls, Season 2 cast members are so close that they even planned a girls’ trip to Beirut post-filming. Indeed, in an interview with Cosmo ME, Tara Atalla shares, “We spend every day together, but we genuinely get along so well.”
Sarah adds, “We’re always talking, texting, updating each other and planning get-togethers.” “We became besties in just two weeks,” Raneem confirms.

Still, everybody and their mother knows that AlRawabi High School is by no means a drama-free zone – its corridors are filled with rivalries and heartbreaking twists and turns. Knowing what we know now about the cast – specifically, that there is so much admiration, love, respect, and harmony between the girls – we’re curious to see how on-screen tension, conflict, and drama will play out in the newly released episodes of Season 2.
