First off, will there be a season 2?
Good news: Amazon has renewed the show for a second season prior to the first season even premiering. Jenny Han will also be returning as the showrunner and writer. In an interview with TODAY, Jenny said, “I’m looking forward to seeing other seasons. Literal seasons. All you see is summertime now…we’ll get to see (Belly’s) world a bit bigger.”

What would Season 2 be about?
With the series mostly following through the plot of Jenny Han’s trilogy book series, the second part It’s Not Summer Without You is also most likely to follow pursuit. Spoiler alert: the sequel follows the Fisher boys’ lives after the passing of their mother Susannah. But, we must say that the novel mentions how Susannah decides to not sign up for the trial so we *might* just see some changes in the season 2 plot.
Christopher Briney, who plays Conrad Fisher, said, “I want to know what happens! I read the book, but I haven’t seen the script yet.”

Who are the Season 2 cast members?
We’ve luckily got all the main cast members confirmed to return for the upcoming season. Lola Tung, who plays Belly, said she’s “excited to see how the relationships evolve and how the characters continue to grow”. Well, we can’t wait.
