Since the abuse allegations first came out, Johnny Depp and Amber Heard have been at the centre of one of the most high-profile celeb cases. Now, a new two-part documentary Johnny vs Amber gives a further up-close and personal look into the couple’s legal battles.

What will Johnny vs Amber documentary cover?

The doc follows the time when Johnny sued News Group Newspapers (NGN) and the Sun’s executive editor, Dan Wootton, over a 2018 article for defamation, sharing personal videos, recordings, texts, and images, which further put the spotlight on the couple’s marriage and abuse.

The discovery+ original series shares exclusive, in-depth interviews with both the stars’ lawyers, David Sherborne and Sasha Wass QC, to re-examine the case debated in the legal courts and the court of public opinion, which ends with the High Court verdict against Depp.
