New reality show Hype House is essentially the TV series of dreams, thanks to its merging of two of our favourite things: Netflix and TikTok.

While the Hype House collective (a selection of TikTok and social media influencers) has actually been around for over two years, January 2022 marks the first time the Hype House creators have been shown on our TV screens, and it’s a real treat.

Hype House season one launched on Netflix on 7 January 2022, with a mixture of old and new HH faces taking part. Now, thanks to all the, erm, hype, fans are naturally wondering if and when we can expect a season two.

Here’s everything we know so far…

Has Netflix confirmed a Hype House season 2?

Netflix hasn’t confirmed a second season of Hype House *just* yet. However, it’s very early days. The first series of Hype House only dropped on 7 January, so there’s still plenty of time for Netflix to announce a season two. Here’s hoping!

Who will star in Hype House season 2?

As the second series of Hype House hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, it’s difficult to know for sure. Season one saw a mixture of old and new Hype House members taking part, so we’d expect to see much of the same in a potential series two.

The Hype House collective was formed in December 2019 by 19-year-old TikTok star Chase Hudson (aka Lil Huddy) and 23-year-old YouTuber Thomas Petrou – who both feature in season one.

However, there’s tension between the pair, as Chase has moved out of the main Hype House mansion and into his own place in order to focus on his music. The issue features in the show, with Thomas worrying that Chase isn’t pulling his weight, saying, “Chase just wants to reap the benefits without doing anything to help us make any money.” So, if Chase does return for a season two, we can probably expect to see more tension.

Other creators who feature in Hype House season one include Alex Warren, Kouvr Annon, Ryland Storms, Calvin Goldby, Connor Yates and Patrick Huston. Meanwhile, newer faces also starred, including Larray (Larri Merritt), Mia Hayward, Jack Wright, Michael Sanzone, Sienna Mae Gomez, Vinnie Hacker and Nikita Dragun.

As for who will potentially return (or not), Netflix has revealed that six Hype House members already left the mansion after filming wrapped in Spring 2021. Sanzone announced his departure in August 2021, while Warren, Annon, Yates, Goldby and Huston moved out in October 2021. So, we might not be seeing any of this lot returning.

Those currently still living in the house include Petrou, his girlfriend Mia Hayward, her brother Jake Hayward, Wright, Hacker and new member Renata Ri, according to Netflix. Petrou also told fans in a November 2021 vlog that he’s looking for new people to join the group while renovating the house, so we can expect to see new faces if there is a follow-up season.

When could Hype House season 2 be released?

Of course, we don’t know whether a season 2 of Hype House has been confirmed just yet. Series one only just dropped in January, so it may be some time before a second series hits screens.

Plus, Thomas Petrou’s November 2021 vlogs and TikToks (above) show the mansion being totally ripped out during renovations, meaning the house will likely need to be finished before filming can start again.

Still, it’s only Jan, so could we hope for a 2022 season two? Fingers crossed.

Is there a Hype House season 2 trailer?

We’ll have to wait for series two confirmation before we get a trailer, sadly. However, let’s entertain ourselves with a re-watch of season one:

Here’s hoping there are more updates soon!
