Good news everyone, one of the world’s favourite apps, Instagram, has just brought some new (and super cool) features to the Middle East. Finally!

The social media app has just announced that it is bringing (or has already brought) three different functions to the ME. Instagram ‘Live Rooms,’ the ‘Music Sticker,’ and ‘Reels.’ Calling all content creators, you’re about to have fun! 

Instagram ‘Live Rooms’ will allow you to go Live on IG with up to three people, instead of just one other person. This’ll make Q&A’s or conversations that. much. fun! You may be able to start a talk show this way, have a music jam sesh, or even co-create with three other individuals. You’ll even be able to save your Live afterwards so you can watch it once again or post it onto your feed if you want to. 

‘Music Stickers’ have already been added to the app as a function just a couple of days ago, where users are able add music and lyrics to an IG story that they post. And for users who are watching that story, they’ll be able to hear the snippet of that chosen song, or read the lyrics as they come up (in diff fonts may we add.) 

‘Reels’ are also arriving to the UAE, allowing you to create entertaining videos on IG. You’ll be able to record and edit 15-second multi-clip videos with audio, effects, and new creative tools. You can even share reels with your followers on your feed.
