Grab your umbrellas, folks. The UAE is set for another rainy weekend. According to NCM, there will be thunderstorms and heavy rain in the UAE on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Last week the region saw some serious rainfall and thunderstorms, which resulted in heavy flooding. Drivers are warned to take precautions this weekend as more flooding is likely to occur.
Residents were quick to capture footage of the storm across the region, with some spectacular lightning strikes lighting up the sky surrounding the Burj Khalifa.
The NCM predicts heavy rain in the UAE this weekend
The NCM has predicted overcast conditions as well as storms again this weekend, as they dispatch cloud seeding flights in an effort to boost rainfall in the region.
