Heavy rain, floods, and lighting hit Dubai in the early hours of Friday morning, with a major thunder storm leading to some seriously washed-out roads. Luckily, UAE residents were quick to snap up some vids of the rare stormy conditions.

Watch the Burj Khalifa get struck by lightning

The sky put on quite the performance last night, lighting up the Downtown skyline and even zapping the Burj Khalifa with some epic lightning.

This is the second time we’ve seen the Burj struck by lightning this season, as another thunder storm hit the city back in October.
