There are, quite literally, no words I can think of to describe the sh*t show that has been 2020. I would call it a train wreck, but even that is offensive to trains.
This year was supposed to be the best one of my life; I started my dream job, I was supposed to get married in July, and I had an amazing year of traveling lined up. Instead, my finances suffered, my relationship suffered, my mental health really suffered, and I mourned the loss of not one but four family members – all of whom I could only attend Zoom funerals for.
And so, in spirit with how negative this year has been, I thought I would round it off with all the things I didn’t learn this year.
