The 10th edition of Reel Palestine film festival will be taking place at Cinema Akil this month.
Celebrating the best of Palestinian filmmaking, this film fest will showcase the rich panorama of Palestinian stories through independent and alternative cinema.
Reel Palestine will be held at Cinema Akil, the only independent cinema in the GCC, between January 26th and February 4th.
The program is set to open with the first UAE screening of Farah Nabulsi’s award-winning feature The Teacher starring actor Saleh Bakri.
The annual Reel Palestine event, which takes place over 10 days, will include 23 screenings alongside a series of filmmaker Q&As, masterclasses, workshops and much more.
The 10th edition of the festival will showcase films reflecting the resilience, struggles, and triumphs of the Palestinian experience.

The film festival also features two free, non-ticked outdoor screenings which take place during Quoz Arts Fest on January 27th and 28th.
