ICYMI, Netflix is bringing the first-ever dating reality show to the Middle East, Love Is Blind, Habibi (!!).
After much anticipation, the regional adaptation of the show is set to debut on October 10th.
Following the success of the series in the USA, Sweden, UK and Japan (plus, spin-offs planned for, Argentina and Germany) the UAE is set to join the mix with Love Is Blind, Habibi. The local adaptation of the show will be streamed on Netflix on October 10th, with a focus on Arab singles from across the region taking part in the world’s most famous marriage social experiment.

On their journey, they will get the chance to meet other like-minded people who share their values and desire to build a family as well as a true partner who loves them for who they are and not what they look like. The show is a modern take on the traditional Arab approach to marriage, highlighting how love and connection can be formed in ways that honour cultural values while embracing contemporary realities.
Love Is Blind Habibi has been thoughtfully fine-tuned to resonate with the cherished cultures and traditions of the region, all while exploring whether it’s possible to fall in love without first seeing one another. They will have the opportunity to deepen connections, fall in love, and even propose – all before actually seeing each other. As they eventually meet in the real world and prepare for their wedding day, they will open up and involve friends and family in the unique experience. But the question remains: will they successfully tie the knot, or will external factors and physical realities intervene?
The series will be hosted by power couple, Elham Ali and her husband Khaled Saqer. Read all about them here.
