News recently broke that Love Is Blind, Habibi, the UAE spin-off of the dating series is coming to the region.
And now Netflix has shared a first look at the upcoming series (revealing that it’s already been filmed) by releasing a teaser trailer on its Instagram page.
The short video shows couples entering the pods (the same as the US version of the series) and others being proposed to and dancing.
Alongside the clips, the hosts say in Arabic: “In a world that puts such an emphasis on looks, is there still room for true love? The Love Is Blind experiment will unite a group of single men and women seeking to find true love, to love and be loved. They will decide on whether or not they will marry someone without laying eyes on them.”
Revealing that we don’t have long to wait to start binging, the streaming giant has said that Love Is Blind, Habibi will be released soon. We can’t wait.
Other details given away in the trailer is that it appears that the series has been filmed in Dubai as they show shots of Burj Khalifa.

Elham Ali and Khaled Saqr, who have been married since 2019, will host the first-ever dating show to be filmed in the Middle East. Find out about them here.
Love Is Blind is a unique social experiment following young single Arabs living in the UAE on their quest to find true love.
On their journey, they will get the chance to meet other like-minded people who share their values and desire to build a family as well as a true partner who loves them for who they are and not what they look like.
They will have the opportunity to deepen connections, fall in love, and even propose – all before actually seeing each other. As they eventually meet in the real world and prepare for their wedding day, they will open up and involve friends and family in the unique experience. But the question remains: will they successfully tie the knot, or will external factors and physical realities intervene?
We can’t wait to see how the show unfolds…
