Next up on our stellar list of events was the ~iconic~ unveiling of Victoria’s Secret’s new collection titled Icon at Yas Mall. Must we reiterate that the event was iconic?
Hosted by Cosmo ME‘s very own Digital Editor Sara Al Humiri, and joined by special guest Nadine Hossam, the styling event at Victoria’s Secret Yas Mall was off to an iconic start. To introduce the upcoming styling session, Sara posed a very fitting question: What makes a woman iconic?
In harmony with the values that the Icon Collection represents, Nadine answered, “Generally, what makes all of us iconic is the fact that we embrace being strong, but that we also embrace our femininity. That’s iconic to me.”
Such qualities of femininity, inclusivity, and versatility are most certainly reflected in Victoria’s Secret’s new Icon Collection. To prove it, our very own Fashion Editor Imogene Legrand masterfully showcased the iconic aspects of the new Victoria’s Secret pieces in an informative styling session.
Representing the Icon Collection are none other than Victoria’s Secret stars Adriana Lima, Naomi Campbell, Giselle Bündchen, and Candice Swanepoel. But fundamentally, the inclusive Icon Collection was made for every woman. At every stage of her life, the Icon pieces accompany every Cosmo gal in her most formative moments.
Imogene’s styling session was equally practical as it was creative, highlighting the versatility of each piece depending on the time of day. Whether it be a concert with the girls, a night on the town, or simply lounging indoors after a long day at work – the Icon Collection pieces were crafted to ensure the highest degree of wardrobe mileage.
