Luxury e-commerce shopping outlet by Al Tayer Insignia, Nisnass, has decided to close down after four years in operation due to the loss suffered from the coronavirus pandemic. This news come only a few months after e-commerce fashion brand, The Modist, shut down after three years of operations citing "global crisis" as the behind for the decision.
In a heartfelt message by Al Tayer Insignia, they announced the news saying: "After careful consideration, we have come to a decision to cease Nisnass operations. The estimated final trading date will be July 16th 2020. As with many start-ups, we are compelled to continuously review our trajectory and focus our resources towards achieving our mission in the most effective way."
"We would like to extend our sincerest gratitude to our customers, brand and media partners, and all our collaborators for their support in our journey with Nisnass: without your entrepreneurial spirit, the Middle East would not be the fast-evolving and dynamic retail market that it has come to be, and for that we are thankful to you for helping us continue its progress."
Four years ago, Al Tayer Insignia launched Nisnass and its sister website, Ounass, as an effort to establish a leadership position in the online fashion and beauty industries in the Middle East.
