Beyonce’s got her bee-emblem, Nicki Minaj has her pink wigs, Amy Winehouse had her iconic eyeliner, and H.E.R. is all about her sunnies. It’s no surprise that the lo-fi R&B singer is finally releasing a collection of her own eyewear accessories, considering it is her signature aesthetic. Ever since this 22 year old up-and-coming American artist started gaining traction, she was always seen wearing shades.

No, really, we had almost no idea what her eyes looked like till recently. 

She’s known for keeping it low-key by covering her face with large sunnies and a huge set of curls, and yet has still been able to make it to the top of the charts. Not surprising, have you heard her sing? 

Her upcoming collaboration is much-anticipated, especially as it’s with DIFF eyewear, a charitable eyewear brand. Since 2015, this brand has donated over 1,500,000 pairs of reading glasses to individuals in need around the world – we love when charity and fashion come together!

According to Essence, “the collection features four styles and a special edition trifold case that includes a cleaning cloth.” H.E.R. said herself that “they’re not too big, they’re not too small and the tint is just right. With the glasses I designed, they have a mirror tint, which I love.” 

And get this, the collection has RANGE – “They have to go with something that can be fancy or comfortable, and of course they have to be adorable and something that I can wear on a daily basis,” H.E.R. told Essence.
