Spot a beautiful blonde in Gaia the other night? It may have just been Caroline Stanbury, one of Dubai’s most famous celeb and entrepreneurial residents. This ex-reality tv star from Dorset, England is a divorcee, mother of three, and podcaster with a keen sense of business, a bevy of celebrity friends, and an upcoming wedding to Sergio Carrallo to plan.
Her friends will tell you that she’s loud, over-the-top, and a lot of fun but Caroline describes herself as hard, fair, and full-on. She promises Cosmo ME that she’s “not a B. I just don’t have time to sugarcoat anything anymore. I’m busy. You either get on the train or get off.”
So, she’s basically a self-assured and independent woman who knows her worth and isn’t going to deal with anything less than she deserves? This is the kind of energy we *all* need heading into 2022. We had to find out more about this confident trendsetter and find out… what *exactly* is Caroline Stanbury doing in Dubai?
Sunshine on her mind
Caroline exclusively shares with Cosmo ME that for the “last six years I’ve lived in Dubai. I love the lifestyle. I’m a workaholic and often have late nights. The sun gets me up in the morning. Dubai has a vibe where anything is possible if you have an idea. You can really run with it.” She certainly has.
Caroline is a well-known influencer and the face of many luxury brands including Barclay Assets, Cosmesurge, Jacob & Co., and Apple. This fashionista also has her own shoe line with Black Suede Studio. Given that she’s resided in Dubai for the last six years, Caroline has accrued her own list of personal favourites (who hasn’t?).
She tells Cosmo ME that her “favourite hotel is Raffles on the Palm.” If Caroline is serving you major fashion and beauty inspo (and let’s get real, we all stan) you may want to head to her favourite shopping mall, Mall of the Emirates, and her go-to hair salon, Jacques La Coupe, for a luxe hairstyle.
A borne entrepreneur
First and foremost, Caroline is a natural businesswoman. Her flair for putting people together and raising money for companies has led her to successfully create a career in developing different businesses. Her last business had 76 employees and she shares with Cosmo ME that “she’s in the middle of a huge deal at the moment.” She describes her mind as a “Rubik’s cube,” and tells Cosmo ME that she’s “time-poor. I don’t do just one job. I’m in the middle of building a hotel and getting into Crypto. I’m addicted to my phone and sometimes I struggle just to keep calm.” Relatable, to say the least (at least for the phone addiction #iykyk.)
Although this self-described workaholic struggles with her work/life balance she prioritises her children above all else. No day is the same in Caroline’s life and she’s a testament to the tough lessons and breakthrough successes in the school of life. Although she never went to university, Caroline exclusively tells Cosmo ME that “she thinks she did ok.” She’s dealt with rejection like the rest of us and says, “it doesn’t phase me. One person says no, and another will say yes. Just keep going.”
Low-maintenance beauty
Known for her model-esque good looks, perfect hair, and flawless makeup, we were surprised when Caroline told us she has a “low maintenance beauty routine.” Why is that? She explains, “honestly I just don’t have the time. Instead, I go to Cosmesurge once a month and get my aesthetic treatments.” When we asked Caroline what her favourite makeup and skincare products are, she tells us “Charlotte Tilbury’s Flawless Filter, Sunday Riley skincare products, and all the Tom Ford lipsticks.” She goes on to explain that the Tom Ford lipstick shades look best with her complexion, so she always has one in her bag.
We can’t wait to see what upcoming projects Caroline has in the works. In the meantime, we’re off to buy some Tom Ford lipsticks. *adds all to cart*
